Gifted in the Montessori Classroom
The gifted student is often the most misunderstood child in a classroom. Many teachers have gifted students in their class but often are at a loss as to how to best work with them to meet their needs.
In this course, “Gifted for the Elementary Child,” we will explore several issues regarding the gifted child including – who is the gifted child, why do they need extra support, how you can help them achieve their potential, and how to work with parents of gifted children.
If you are a parent of a gifted child or a teacher, this professional development course will give you valuable information for working with your children to achieve their full potential.

TEMPLATE COURSE
Gifted in the Montessori Classroom
Join us for this series of four vitally interesting and important multi-media courses on how we might meet the spiritual needs of our children. A topic we may have never considered before, but just as children have physical, mental, and emotional needs, so they have deep spiritual needs. These needs are not dependent on religion, but religion is one of many supports we can offer.
In this first of four 12-hour courses, we will investigate what the spiritual nature of the child is, what his needs are what Maria Montessori had to say about this aspect of the child. You will be delighted to find a never-before seen chart of the spiritual stages of development that children pass though in their first decade. We will also talk about education for peace and what education can and should be.

Normalization in the Early Childhood Classroom
If you feel like you are in a constant state of reactive management in your classroom, it is very likely that the children are not reaching the state of Normalization. These qualities of Normalization reveal themselves when we prepare the environment and provide freedom of choice. No teacher “makes” the child work. Children love the work that corresponds to their internal development, and it is our job to provide that environment. Enjoy more calm in your classroom when you cultivate an environment for Normalization!
