How exactly does this work?

At the end of each Institute of Montessori Training (IMT) module or section, adult learners are required to submit a summary project to Sarasota University to review their learning and synthesize learning to earn college credit.

How many dual enrollment credits can I earn from my IMT Training?

Bachelor’s Degree candidates enrolling in dual enrollment with the IMT program will earn up to 30 credits/10 courses toward the degree.

Master’s Degree candidates will earn up to 18 credits/6 courses toward the degree.

Doctoral Degree candidates will earn up to 9 credits/3 courses toward the degree.

How much will dual enrollment cost?

Adult learners pay the full cost of the IMT credential. College credits earned through dual enrollment cost $300/course and the Professional Fee (one time) of $450.

Once the IMT credential is obtained, the adult learner will pay the standard tuition cost for the remaining credits (all remaining credits are 100% virtual) needed for the degree.

How much will it cost to complete my degree with Sarasota University?

Tuition for the remaining courses at Sarasota University is currently $428/credit or $1284/course at the Masters level and $321/credit or $963/course at the undergraduate level. The Doctoral level credit cost is $578 per credit hour.

When do I have to make the decision to dual enroll?

IMT enrollees have until the end of the first module or section of their training to be enrolled in the Dual enrollment program.
